Site Clearing
DSI will use heavy equipment such as excavators, track loaders, skid steers to demolish and clear sites of trees, bushes, concrete/brick/masonry walls, asphalt paving, and concrete curbs and paving. This material would be demolished and stockpiled, separated by material type.
These materials would then be hauled to a recycling facility to be processed and re used as much as possible. Site clearing is usually performed in advance of constructing a new parking lot or building.
Much of the green waste (trees/bushes) will be ground up to become mulch. The concrete and asphalt would be ground up to be used as material base to be compacted beneath new roads or parking lots.
Most of the material we generate is recycled, up to 100% on some projects.
